Milestones in the history of
The Southern and South Western Birman Cat Club . . . .

September 1999  

 

The Southern and South Western Birman Cat Club was formed - the friendly club where Birmans come first!
6th February 2000 - The first Annual General Meeting of the Southern & South Western Birman Cat Club was held. Forms were completed for the club to be pre-affiliated to the GCCF, the committee was elected, Club Rules approved and everyone celebrated with a delicious tea !!

AGM 2001

 

The Club's Overall Best Birman Exhibit for the 1999/2000 show season was Grand Premier Hollymoon Rockafella owned and bred by Alistair and Trina Balharrie.

 

AGM 2002  

 

The Club's Overall Best Birman Exhibit for the 2000/2001 show season was Champion and Grand Premier Laurant Lorenzo, owned by Kathy Scarisbrick.
 

 

AGM 2003

 

The Club's Overall Best Birman Exhibit for the 2001/2002 show season was Grand Premier Maschenka Shamanda owned by Keith and Julie Welch

2003  

 

The Southern & South Western Birman Cat Club became affiliated to the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

 

2003

 

The club's representatives, Mary Kalal, Ron Pike and Anne Gregory attended the Birman Breed Advisory Committee Meeting on Sunday 3rd August

 

AGM 2004

 

 The Club's Overall Best Birman Exhibit for the 2002/2003 show season was another win for Keith & Julie's beautiful Grand Premier Maschenka Shamanda. Congratulations on achieving this honour for the second year in a row!

 

2004  

The club's First Exemption Show will take place on Saturday 11th September at the Even Swindon Community Centre, Jennings Street, Swindon. A must for every member, make sure you are there on this historic occasion !

 

11th September 2010

 
 
The club's FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW will be held at the Leisure Centre in Cricklade .... there will be a great many special features on this historic occasion ... put the date in your diary and be there with us!!
